Chennai, India – November 28, 2024 : A pioneer in medicine and public service, Dr. H.V. Hande’s 98^th birthday is being celebrated at Hande Hospitals, Shenoy Nagar. To mark the occasion The Microwave Ablation and Laser Surgery Centre, was launched by Dr. H. Krishna Hande., MS., FRCS., MCh. This centre was formally inaugurated by the renowned Padma Shri awardee,

Shri Nalli Kuppuswami Chetti, in the presence of eminent dignitaries, Medical Professionals and Specialists.

The newly established centre is a quantum leap forward in minimally invasive medical treatments. With the latest in technology, microwave ablation allows for minimally invasive, organ preserving and precise removal of benign tumours of the Thyroid, Cancer of the Liver, Fibroid Uterus and Fibroadenoma of the Breast.  It will be an important addition to the existing Laser, Cosmetic and Laparoscopic Centre at Hande Hospital where procedures such as Varicose veins, Piles, Fissure, Fistula, Liposuction, Breast reduction, Hair Transplantation (FUE) Kidney stone removal are being already performed. These procedures aim to reduce patient discomfort, decrease hospital stay and enhance outcomes which are consistent with the patient-centered philosophy, at Hande Hospitals.
